Validus Holdings Ltd. named Therese M. Vaughan, the former CEOof the National Association of Insurance Commissioner, to its boardearlier this week.
|Vaughan was CEO of the NAIC from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that,she served as the Iowa Insurance Commissioner and is a pastpresident of the NAIC. Vaughn holds a doctorate in risk andinsurance and has held academic positions. She is the co-author oftwo college textbooks on insurance. Vaughn serves on the boardVerisk Analytics, a provider of risk assessment services anddecision analytics.
