The IASA Solution Provider Education Committee (SPEC) announcesIASA will again host a special seminar, "Boot Camp+: Mastering theArt of Marketing & Selling to Insurance Companies," prior tothe association's spring planning meeting, March 14 and 15, at theLoews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson,Ariz.

This year's seminar will feature new sessions based on industryand previous-attendee feedback, including "The Fundamentals ofInsurance: What You Need to Know," followed by an interactivesession, "The Insurance Game: An Introduction to InsuranceProcesses."  The boot camp will begin at 7:30 a.m. localtime on Thursday, March 14.

Additional sessions include a panel of insurance company CFOs,COOs, and CIOs who will profile buying processes and preferences;an hour-long discussion about the lifecycle of insurance companies;insights into how best to maximize your budget with the rightmarketing mix for this industry; and an audience participationsession designed to test your ability to get your message across toyour target audience.  The afternoon will conclude with anetworking reception for all attendees.

Sessions resume on Friday, March 15 at 7:30 a.m. and will end at12 noon. Topics for Friday's sessions include a presentation on thesocial, mobile, analytics and cloud (SMAC) platform and how itapplies to insurance, given by industry veteran Bill Hartnett; asession on social media in the insurance marketplace; and amoderated panel discussion on RFP responses, product gaps andpartnerships, that will explore the opportunities and challengesassociated with joint partnering, white labeling, and solutionpartnering.

By attending the Boot Camp+ seminar, insurance industry vendorprofessionals can take a hands-on approach to developing andpresenting a compelling message, as experts in the field of salesand marketing walk through the payoffs and pitfalls. Registration for this event is $495 for individuals from IASAmember and associate member companies.
