Craig Wenzel was appointed senior vicepresident of capital markets for XL Group'sreinsurance operations. He will manage and develop relationshipswith third party capital providers in support of XL's globalunderwriting activities.

Caldwell and Partners Inc. announced the acquisitionof Midlands Holding Corp. from PMA Capital Corp. Midlands is amanaging general agent and excess and surplus lines broker thatalso operates as a third party administrator. Caldwell originallyfounded Midlands in 1990 but sold it to PMA in 2007.

The Chubb Group of Insurance Cos. expanded itsdefinition of fraudulent communications with an endorsement to itsForeFront Security. The new Cyber Fraud Endorsement allows a bankto authenticate commercial customer instructions through textmessaging, email and more. It will also help indemnifycommunity banks from defense costs and direct damages arising outof such a lawsuit.

Georgia Agency Partners Inc. (GAP) announced theaddition of four new partner agencies: HutchinsonTraylor, Founders Insurance Group, Brock InsuranceAgency and Brand & Britt Insurance. The partnership is theresult of GAP's extensive growth and expansion effort. GAP isa partnership of 16 independent agencies combining knowledge andresources to provide consumers with comprehensive coverage.

Willis NorthAmerica relocated its Cleveland, Ohio office as part ofits strategy to continue to elevate its presence in the state anddrive market growth. The company has a history in Ohio, beginningmore than 30 years ago. The new facility will support Willis'retail insurance brokerage operations.
