Glenn Dorr has been appointed director of the Northeast region at Lloyd's America.
Dorr joins Lloyd's from HCC Specialty, where he was senior vice president. He has more than 20 years of experience in the standard and surplus lines segments in the US and overseas.
Lloyd's America says Dorr will be based in the Boston area and will be responsible for market development activities in an 11-state region stretching from Maryland to Maine, and Washington D.C. Lloyd's stakeholders in this region include retail, wholesale & reinsurance brokers, program managers, MGA's, risk managers and the organizations that support them.
