Risk Control Technologies Inc., a provider of loss controlsoftware solutions for insurers, announces that version 4 of RCInspection has been deployed in production.

The latest version includes features that will allow insurersusing RC Inspection to streamline their loss controlprocesses.  In addition to a complete user interfacerefresh, version 4 includes the following enhancements:

• Integration with the Google Maps API for geo-coding andmultiple location mapping
• Introduction of an iPad/iOS version of the RC Inspection tabletfield application
• Multiple photo upload to allow users to easily bulk add a largenumber of survey photos
• Additional recommendation management tools including anautomated recommendation follow up and reminder feature
• Configurable automated survey assignment rules using anyrequest parameter
• Addition of an ad-hoc reporting tool which allows data-miningand extracts on all data elements within a survey

RC Inspection is used to manage loss controloperations.  The product is an end-to-end loss controlsolution, which manages all aspects of field surveys and servicefor insurers.  The system enables insurers to equip fieldstaff with tablet devices, loaded with the RC inspection fieldapplication in order to collect risk data, photos, recommendationsand diagrams in the field, even in locations without wirelessbroadband connections. 

Once data is collected in the field, it is then uploaded into acentral database which allows underwriters to utilize theinformation in making underwriting decisions.  Thiscentral data repository also offers data mining and reportingcapabilities which have traditionally been unavailable in thepaper-based loss control environment in which most insurersoperate. RC Inspection is a web-based solution that is available toinsurers to install on-premises, or on a Software-as-a-Service(SaaS) basis by Risk Control Technologies, leveraging cloudtechnologies.
