ExpeData and MphasiS announce a partnership to enable insuranceagents to capture front-end data such as new applicationselectronically using Anoto, digital pen technology.

The partnership facilitates MphasiS integration of theExpeData's EDW platform with the Insurance Sales ModernizationsSolution (ISM). EDW is a digital-pen enabled end-to-end softwareplatform that automates the collection of natural inputs includinghandwriting at the point of entry. Through this alliance, the twocompanies will offer a combined solution to their insurancecustomers in Australia, North America and Europe.

The solution provides the ability to capture and submitapplications electronically, thereby decreasing the time spent toobtain and process the information. As a result, organizationsexperience substantial improvements in workflow including:

  • Minimizing or eliminating cycle time delays and errorsassociated with manual processing
  • Reducing or eliminating lost paperwork
  • Enhancing productivity of sales agents
  • Implementing straight-through processing while retaining thehuman touch for customer relationship development.
