Insurance software provider Applied Systems announces therelease of MobileProducer, a mobile application designedspecifically for insurance producers that provides them instantaccess to client information.

An intuitive and personalized mobile interface providesproducers access to view accounts, activities, contacts, andinsurance policy information. Having access to client data 24/7provides producers with a competitive advantage and adds value totheir product offering.

Through MobileProducer, producers also have the ability tocommunicate through email, add activities to the agency managementsystem, and leverage GPS technology to map accounts and coordinatedaily schedules—all from the touch screen of a tablet.

The application works on the Apple iPad as well as tabletcomputers running the Android operating system. Through integrationwith Applied Systems Epic and TAM agency management systems,producers have on-demand access to the system of record.

Attendees of TENCon, the user conference put on by AppliedSystems, were provided a trial version of MobileProducer as part ofthe company's initial beta release. Applied Systems plans forMobileProducer to go into controlled release in September, with ageneral release scheduled for later in the fourth quarter.

MobileProducer will be available for Apple iPads andAndroid-powered tablet computers. However, the app is not availablefor iPhones or Android-powered phones.
