LexisNexis Risk Solutions is integrating the LexisNexisInsurance Exchange into its commercial-insurance business. Thecombined organization will develop commercial-insurance solutions,using data, analytics and commercial workflow processes to createmore effective and efficient commercial processes.

As part of the integration with the commercial-insurancebusiness, the Insurance Exchange will be led by Ernie Feirer, vicepresident of commercial insurance.

The LexisNexis commercial-insurance business enables brokers andcarriers throughout the policy life cycle to best match risks andrisk appetites and make sure they are connected at key pointsthroughout the submission process. Commercial carriers and brokersutilize data and analytics solutions from LexisNexis, such asmarketing and data pre-fill, to better know their customers, lowerloss ratios, streamline quoting and become a choice carrier ofpreferred risk.
