Entries are invited for the Commercial Agency Awards forExcellence program, run jointly by National Underwriterand American Agent & Broker. The CommercialInsurance Agency of the Year receives three iPads to share with itsstaff.

NU and AA&B editors will work in tandemwith industry judges to cite one organization as the overall 2012“Commercial Insurance Agency of the Year,” in additional to fourcategory awards for excellence in “Sales and Marketing,” “CustomerService,” “Technology and Operations,” and “Recruitment andTraining.”

Agencies will be judged based on a variety of factors,including:

  • Growth and development
  • Management of client relationships
  • Technology aptitude and efficiency
  • Innovative solutions to sales challenges
  • Projection and maintenance of brand identity

The winning agencies will be profiled in the Oct. 8 issueof NU, as well as in the November issue ofAA&B. Principals from the winning agencies willparticipate in a roundtable discussion on “The Future of theIndependent Agent,” hosted by the two publications, with editedhighlights appearing in the Nov. 7 edition of NU and theDecember issue of AA&B.
