How can employers recruit young talent? In the state of North Carolina, we have 3 universities that have risk management and insurance programs. The professors at each school are very active with the Independent Insurance Agents of North Carolina, RIMS and the CPCU, which in turn allows the students to have access to those groups. They also provide career days and shadow days, which are put on for the students to help employers get to know the young talent and forge relationships. If employers want to recruit young talent, the schools have made it very easy to do so.
