A new mobile application makes it easier for clients to contacttheir independent insurance agent. The Trusted Choice mobileapplication is for use on smartphones and tablet computers. Itprovides consumers with the ability to keep an inventory of theirinsured personal possessions, document a car accident with photos,read consumer insurance tips, and communicate with their agent.
|A co-branded version can be customized for Trusted Choiceagencies with their logos and color schemes. A Trusted Choiceversion includes a “find an agent” feature that helps consumersfind a local Trusted Choice independent agent.
|The mobile app is available in the iTunes store for use oniOS devices such as iPhones and iPads, and in the Google Play storefor use on Android phones and tablet computers. It is a freedownload for consumers.
|The Trusted Choice mobile app was developed by Project CAP inconjunction with the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers ofAmerica and Trusted Choice.

It gives consumers one-click access toTrusted Choice agents and insurance information.”
|Consumers increasingly are turning to mobile access includingapps. Nearly half (46 percent) of American adults owned smartphonesas of February 2012, reported thePewResearchCenter's Internet &American Life Project.
