Grange Insurance named PeterMcMurtrie chief sales and marketing officer. He willmanage a newly combined sales and marketing team focused on helpingindependent agents. Prior, McMurtrie oversaw Grange's personal andcommercials lines claims operation. Ken Kozek willsucceed Murtrie as vice president of claims.

Torus appointed both DanDurett (email) and Scott Ducey (email) tovice president of health care. Durrett willoversee Torus' U.S. medical professional liability platform forhospital and program business. Ducey will oversee healthcareliability business in the western U.S. region.

The Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers(IIABA) awarded BobFulwider—principal and president at Ray Wuestenberg Agency inWest Liberty, Iowa—with the Woodworth Memorial Award, the highestassociation honor, at the Big I Legislative Conference and Convention.The award recognizes the contributions of an independent agent orbroker to the national association, to his or her IIABA colleaguesand to the insurance industry.

Lockton acquired the minority stake in its operations outside theU.S. held by Trident III, an investment fund managed by Stone PointCapital. Terms of the transaction were notdisclosed.

TheMain Street America Group introduced Main LineAuto, itsremodeled commercial auto product to independent insuranceagents who represent super regional P&C insurance carriers inArizona, Oklahoma and South Carolina. Main Line Auto offers bodilyinjury liability, property damage liability, personal injuryprotection, and uninsured motorist and underinsured motoristcoverages, hired automobile coverage, non-owned automobilecoverage, comprehensive damage and collision damage. ChubbGroup Insurance Cos. announced a new travel accident policy to Californiacompanies that promote eco-friendliness. This policy allows employersto provide insurance protection should an employee suffer a coveredinjury while traveling to work by carpool or van pool, mass transitor in an alternative-fuel private-passenger vehicle. All U.S.employees of California-based companies are eligible forcoverage.
