Willis Re appoints SVP: Willis Re, thereinsurance arm of Willis Group Holdings, promoted WardHumphreys to senior vice president of its Life,Accident, and Health (LAH) group. Humphreys isnow based in Philadelphia. Among other responsibilities, he willnow oversee development of new clients in the managedcare and health insurer sectors. Humphreys comes to the positionwith more than 20 years industry experience.

Austin Mutual joins Main StreetAmerica: Minnesota-based P&C carrier Austin Mutual InsuranceCo. agreed to become an affiliate of The Main Street AmericaGroup. Both boards of directors approved the affiliation agreement, but it is stillsubject to regulatory approval from the State ofMinnesota Insurance Commissioner's Office and Austin Mutualpolicyholders. If all goes smoothly, closing should be by midyear2012.
