Insurance data exchange IVANS is hosting a series of regionalmeetings in early February for property & casualty insurancecarriers to discuss their technology priorities for driving growth,gaining competitive advantage, and reducing the cost of doingbusiness with agents.

The meetings will address how to achieve strategic value andexpand into new markets by using technology that delivers businessresults.

The meetings are scheduled for:

  • February 7, at the Brookfield Hotel, Milwaukee, Wisc., 10 a.m.to 1:30 p.m.
  • February 8, at the Sheraton West,Des Moines,Iowa, 10 a.m. to1:30 p.m.

“Insurance companies are challenged with improving profits in atough market faced with increased regulation, fears ofcommoditization and weakened prices,” saysJimOchiltree, IVANSpresident of property & casualty services. “This forum enablesour customers to exchange ideas and learn how IVANS is deliveringbusiness results in new and innovative ways.”

The events will also unveil recent updates to IVANS InsuranceCarrier Exchange platform, which manages more than 9 million policytransactions monthly, and improves communications by making iteasier for agents and carriers to do business with one another.Enhancements include security updates, better access to reporting,and a user-friendly interface.
