Luthi serves as the enterpriserisk amnager for the San Francisco Public Utiltiies Commission. Gallagher acquires Capital Bauer: Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. acquired CapitalBauer Insurance Agency in Albany, N.Y. Terms were notdisclosed. Capital Bauer owner David Bauer and his staff willcontinue to operate in the Albany location, under the direction ofDouglas Brown, Northeast regional manager of Gallagher's retailproperty/casualty brokerage operation.

Schinnerer launches contractors' policy: Victor O.Schinnerer & Co. launched an errors & omissions policy for specialtycontractors. The policy is available nationwide on an excess& surpluss lines basis.

Two new programs at Glatfelter: Glatfelter Program Managers (GPM), a strategicbusiness unit dedicated to Glatfelter Insurance Group's programbusiness, has acquired the senior living and religious institutionsprograms of Bunker Hill Underwriters (BHU). BHU is the underwritingagency subsidiary of Houston International Insurance Group. Thesenior living program will be known as Glatfelter HealthcarePractice, which also will iclude GPM's previously known Hospice andCommunicaty Care Insurance Services. The religious instituitionsprogram will be known as Glatfelter Religious Practice.
