|An assistant to former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has been namedregional manager and counsel for the Property Casualty InsurersAssociation of America in the Sunshine State.
|G. Donovan Brown, most recently an associate at Foley &Lardner, takes on the government relations role for the insuranceindustry trade association.
|At Foley & Lardner, Brown counseled and represented clientson matters pending before the Florida legislature and stateexecutive agencies, specifically the Florida Office of InsuranceRegulation and the Florida Department of Financial Services.
|He was previously an associate at Akerman Senterfitt.Before his legal career, Brown served as a specialassistant to Gov. Jeb Bush.
|Brown was named to Florida Trend's 2009 Legal Elite as anup-and-coming attorney. He is a graduate of theUniversity of Florida's Levin College of Law and also earned abachelor's degree in business administration from Florida.
