The former operator of Palmer Park Medical Center, a clinic forpoor people, was sentenced to 50 months in jail in an Ingham Countycourt. She must also repay the $3 million that she raked in duringher Medicaid scam that ran from 2007 to 2009.

D'Anna was accused of billing Medicaid with the identities ofthe clinic's former doctors and patients long after Palmer Parkclosed in 2005. Authorities say she spent millions on a lavish lifestyle in Ocala, Fla. With her ill-gotten earnings,D'Anna purchased cars, land, jewelry, and a luxurious Floridahome.
