|The former operator of Palmer Park Medical Center, a clinic forpoor people, was sentenced to 50 months in jail in an Ingham Countycourt. She must also repay the $3 million that she raked in duringher Medicaid scam that ran from 2007 to 2009.
|D'Anna was accused of billing Medicaid with the identities ofthe clinic's former doctors and patients long after Palmer Parkclosed in 2005. Authorities say she spent millions on a lavish lifestyle in Ocala, Fla. With her ill-gotten earnings,D'Anna purchased cars, land, jewelry, and a luxurious Floridahome.
