"We are thrilled to enable insurance companies the ability to leverage the standard ACORD Information Model 2.0. Prima Solutions is in the unique position to become the leading support provider to insurance organizations who want to use the ACORD Information Model 2.0 to build insurance applications."

The complete Prima IBCS Toolset and Service Offering are aligned with the ACORD Information Model 2.0 and provide:

|
  • Training: Training programs that help insurance carriers gain an in-depth understanding of the ACORD Information Model 2.0 and how to use it within their organization
  • Application Development Kit: A productivity suite and a model-driven architecture suite accelerating and facilitating the usage of the ACORD Information Model 2.0 to build insurance applications and set up enterprise data governance
  • Consulting services: ACORD Information Model expert consultants to support insurance organizations with their complex projects around the ACORD Information Model such as designing applications and building data stores such as data warehouses.

Prima Solutions has been working with ACORD since 2008 on the ACORD Framework and the ACORD Information Model initiative. Prima's involvement started with the donation of its reference model to ACORD in order to jumpstart the ACORD Information Model standard. Prima Solutions then worked alongside ACORD to contribute to the ACORD Information Model 1.0 and more recently to the ACORD Information Model 2.0. "ACORD has created the Information Model, from both previous contributions as well as member participation, in an effort to build an industry-owned enterprise model," says Shane McCullough, ACORD's chief enterprise architect. "Now, we are seeing the need for insurance organizations to utilize productivity tools as an accelerator for usage of the ACORD Information Model into their daily projects."
