The partnership streamlines the total loss claims process forcarriers who can now receive a vehicle license fee (VLF) reportwhen a total loss valuation—either for standard auto, motorcycle,recreational or other types of vehicles—is generated throughWorkCenter, Mitchell's claims processing software.

The VLF report provides information about the vehicleregistration, how much of a refund exists, and the amount to bedisbursed to the claimant. The VLF can be generated with a totalloss valuation in California where there is a refund available forthe unused portion of a year's license fee.
