Patrick J. Geraghty has been named to succeed Dr. Robert Lufranoas CEO of BlueCross and Blue Shield of Florida (BCBSF). He will assume hisnew post in September.
|Geraghty has more than 30 years of health industry experienceand previously held senior leadership positions at Horizon BlueCross and Blue Shield of New Jersey and Prudential InsuranceCompany. He most recently was president and CEO at Blue Cross andBlue Shield of Minnesota.
|BCBSF is a not-for-profit, policyholder-owned, tax-paying mutualcompany headquartered in Jacksonville, Fla. It provides employmentfor 5,800 people statewide and, through its subsidiaries, servesmore than 7 million people.
