Exceed Billing is a rules-driven component of the Internet-basedExceed software suite that processes all bill types and lines ofbusiness. Built specifically for the insurance industry, ExceedBilling manages single policy accounts, account billings,third-party/group billings, and agency bill. Built upon anopen, business-services architecture with a platform-independentJava code base, it can be integrated with other CSC software,carriers' proprietary systems and third-party applications.

Many of the CSC staff have more than 20 years of experiencehelping clients solve business problems, according to Aycock.

The platform-independent Java option for Exceed is attractingnew clients beyond CSC's traditional client base of large-tierP&C carriers.

“While Exceed Billing has always had the ability to add rulesvia browser screens, authorized users can now create new rules, addnew pay plans, expire and replace plans, and add new data fieldswithout IT involvement,” says Aycock. “Customer servicerepresentatives have immediate access to data and call centerscripting with intelligent screens and a new mobility applicationthat encompasses both browser functions and unique smartphonefeatures.”

CSC will continue to develop configuration enhancements,expanding its mobile offerings and configurability projects, anddelivering business services to support secure cloud deploymentoptions, according to Aycock.
