|Steve White was named chief actuary of reinsurance broker GuyCarpenter & Company, LLC.
|Mr. White assumes the role previously held by Don Mango, who wasnamed head of Global Advisory.
|In his new role, Mr. White will focus on enhancing GuyCarpenter's actuarial standards and will continue leading theoverall development of MetaRisk, a risk and capital decisiontool.
|Mr. White will be based in Seattle and will report to Mr.Mango.
|Prior to joining Guy Carpenter in 2000, Mr. White worked atSwiss Re. Prior to Swiss Re he worked at Allstate Re, afterbeginning his actuarial career at Allstate Research and PlanningCenter.
|Guy Carpenter is a subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies,which also owns insurance broker Marsh.
