MapInfo Professional enables property/casualty insurancecarriers to leverage location-based data for a view of theirpolicyholders, resources, and operations. Now available via acloud-based portal, data can be accessed and shared to make morestrategic decisions in core functional areas such as underwriting,claims, and marketing.

MapInfo Professional 10.5 enables users to create versions ofdynamic maps by accessing policyholder and location data from theirdesktop. The latest version also features publishing options,allowing users to report and share information with more ease. Withthese new tools, insurance carriers can leverage data across theenterprise.

Additionally,MapInfo Professional v10.5 customers will be able to access thenewly-available Pitney Bowes Business Insight Geosk Platform, the geospatialindustry's first location-based data-as-a-service (DaaS) offering.With Geosk, users can search a Metadata browser to locate and openmap files right from their desk top by typing just a fewkeywords.

? Simplified Map Creation and Ease-of-Use - Newmultiple style override capabilities allow users to manipulatespecific formats and labels, while a table list window provideseasy searching of data tables for simplified content organization,updating and exporting.

Improved Sharing Capabilities - New publishingoptions allow for maps to be shared in standard PDF, Layered PDFand GeoPDF formats as well as published to MapInfo Stratus, PitneyBowes Business Insight's software-as-a-service web application, forusers to share corporate data via a map "in the cloud."
