Terry Fleming took over as president of the New York-based Riskand Insurance Management Society for the 2010 term on New Year'sDay.

Mr. Fleming is director of the division of risk management forMontgomery County, Md. Before taking on the Society's presidency,he served as vice president and has been on the RIMS board ofdirectors since 2004.

Mr. Fleming was also the board liaison to the Finance Committee,and has served on RIMS Conference Programming and Audit Committeesin the past. He was a former president of RIMS Potomac Chapter anda former president of the Public Risk Management Association(PRIMA) Maryland Chapter.

Joining Mr. Fleming as officers on RIMS 2010 board ofdirectors:

o Deborah M. Luthi, director, Enterprise RiskManagement Services, Matheson Inc. in Sacramento, Calif., who willserve as vice president.

o John R. Phelps, director of business risksolutions at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida Inc., inJacksonville, who will serve as treasurer.

o Scott B. Clark, risk and benefits officer forthe school board of Miami-Dade County, Fla., in Miami., who willserve as secretary.
