Roseland, N.J.-based wholesale broker Crump Group Inc. said DaveObenauer, chief financial officer of its property and casualtyinsurance division, has been named president and vice chairman forthe unit.

Mr. Obenauer's promotion is effective immediately, the companysaid. He will be responsible for the growth and development of thebusiness and will continue to oversee the financial operations ofCrump pending the selection of a successor to fill the CFOrole.

Mr. Obenauer replaces John Jennings, who will move into thenewly created position of vice chairman, business development forthe p&c division, responsible for national retailerrelationships, carrier relations and producer recruiting, as wellas leading Crump's New York p&c operations.

Joining Crump's p&c division as executive vice president andchief sales officer is Phil Eisenmann, who will be transitioningfrom Crump's life insurance services division where he serves asexecutive vice president.
