|Terry Fleming was named president of the New York-based Risk andInsurance Management Society, Inc. (RIMS) for the 2010 termeffective Jan. 1.
|Mr. Fleming is director of the division of risk management forMontgomery County, Md. He is currently vice president of theSociety and has served on the RIMS board of directors since2004.
|He is the board liaison to the Finance Committee and has servedon RIMS Conference Programming and Audit Committees in the past.Mr. Fleming is also a former president of RIMS Potomac Chapter anda former president of the Public Risk Management Association(PRIMA) Maryland Chapter.
|Joining Mr. Fleming as officers on RIMS 2010 board ofdirectors:
|o Deborah M. Luthi, director, Enterprise Risk ManagementServices, Matheson, Inc. in Sacramento, Calif. She will serve asvice president.
|o John R. Phelps, director of business risk solutions at BlueCross and Blue Shield of Florida, Inc., in Jacksonville, Fl. Hewill serve as treasurer
|o Scott B. Clark, risk and benefits officer for the school boardof Miami-Dade County, Fla., in Miami. He will serve assecretary.
