|Columbus, Ohio--based Nationwide Insurance said it hasintroduced its second application for iPhone and iPod Touch freecar buying software application.
|The application, Cartopia helps users access a wide range ofinformation as they shop for the new or used car.
|Cartopia follows the successful launch of the Nationwide Mobilefor iPhone applications introduced in spring of 2009. NationwideMobile provides a tool kit for use following a car accident andhelps customers begin the auto insurance claims process on theiriPhone or iPod touch.
|The company said that Nationwide Mobile for iPhone has beendownloaded more than 85,000 times and 248 auto insurance claimshave been initiated through the application.
