Genworth Financial, has a new relationship withTeacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) to provide long term careinsurance to its membership. The group insurance is underwritten byGenworth Life Insurance Co. (Genworth Life).
Under this agreement, Genworth Life will become the underwriter ofthe group long term care insurance program for public schoolemployees sponsored by TRS.
The TRS group long term care insurance program will be availableduring the fall enrollment, which began September 15. Active TRSmembers will receive a one-time opportunity to obtain coverage withreduced underwriting during the initial enrollmentperiod.
