|The National African-American Insurance Association's11th Annual National Conference will feature a varietyof events, including speakers, roundtable discussion forums,continuing education workshops, a networking reception and anawards ceremony, the association said.
|The conference, to take place Oct. 22-23 in Chicago, Ill., atThe Palmer House Hilton Hotel, will highlight "several changes inthe insurance industry that present both challenges andopportunities to African-American industry professionals.Additionally, we will champion the use of teamwork as a key tosuccess," Ron Allen, NAAIA national chairman, said in astatement.
|Awards will honor insurance professionals who have madesignificant contributions to the insurance industry, NAAIA said.Attendees will represent leadership and staff roles from insuranceagency/broker organizations and insurance companies.
