The gavel was passed to new Chair James Trafton of Florida Farm Bureau Insurance Co. at the Florida Insurance Council's 2009 Summer Insurance Symposium in June. Other board members include Harry Spring of Humana, chair-elect; Peter Corrigan of Florida Family Insurance Co., vice chair and treasurer; Marianne Eterno of Guarantee Trust, vice chair and secretary. George Grawe of Allstate Insurance was presented with the Wade Holland Award for Distinguished Service during the conference.
