After announcing plans to integrate its suite of technologyproducts under one brand, Vertafore, the provider of the agencymanagement system AMS and related products, unveiled two newsoftware developments during the 33rd annual AMS Users GroupConference in Washington, D.C.

The Bothell, Wash.-based software and services provider to theinsurance industry last week released an integrated version of itsClientConnect and BenefitPoint products.

The company said the new program "provides employers with aself-service web portal to review policies and benefits, and tosearch for network providers." It also allows employees to view andcompare benefit plans and find answers to frequently askedquestions in one place.

Insurance agencies, the firm said, will also be able to launchmultiple customized client sites and access risk management andcompliance information in real time.

The company also released ReferenceConect offering resourceinformation.

During the conference, Vertafore's President and Chief ExecutiveOfficer Euan Menzies announced plans to integrate its technologyproducts under one umbrella while at the same time recognizing theindividual need of different size agencies.

Vertafore is the producer of AMS agency management systems AMS360 and Sagitta; content and workflow products ImageRight;SilverPlume Sage and PL rating; Sircon's Compliance Express andProducer manager, along with other technology products.
