ProspX, Inc., a technology provider that develops collaborationand automation solutions for the insurance industry said it hasnamed Dennis Chookaszian, former CNA chairman and chief executiveofficer, as ProspX chairman.

Explaining his decision to join the company's board ofdirectors, Mr. Chookaszian said in a statement, "ProspX hasdeveloped an extremely affordable, easy-to-use technology focusedspecifically on the commercial insurance industry that cansignificantly improve operations.

"The ProspX platform combines the right mix of businessnetworking, sales collaboration, and search engine functionalitymaking it easier for agents, brokers, and carriers to succeed inthis complex and competitive market."

Mr. Chookaszian worked at CNA for 27 years, holding severalsenior management level positions before becoming chairman andchief executive officer in 1992. He also served as chairman ofAgency Management Services, Inc. (AMS), a subsidiary of CNA.

Prior to joining CNA, Mr. Chookaszian was with Touche Ross &Co. (now Deloitte & Touche) Management Consulting Services,where he was responsible for management, financial and systemsconsulting practices.

ProspX noted that Mr. Chookaszian is currently chairman ofFinancial Accounting Advisory Council (FASAC) which providesguidance to the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) onaccounting matters, and he has also been appointed to the FinancialCrisis Advisory Group (FCAG), comprised of senior worldwide leaderswith broad international experience in financial markets, todevelop recommendations to address the financial reporting issuesinvolved in the global economic crisis.
