Vertafore, a provider of software and services to the insuranceindustry, announced a corporate reorganization to "One Vertafore,"a move that aligns the company's business units to meet thechanging needs of their customers.

The company will organize around market segments rather thanproducts by creating three business units: Vertafore AgencyMarkets, Vertafore Carrier & MGA Markets and Sircon, AVertafore Business.

"Whether they are small agencies or the largest carriers, ourcustomers' technology needs are getting more complex daily," saysEuan Menzies, president and CEO of Vertafore. "By acting as OneVertafore, we can help our customers run their businessesefficiently and provide them with a clear path to competitiveadvantage and bottom-line results."

With the changes, Vertafore's current products will be organizedunder the new business units defined by market segments, explainsMenzies. Vertafore Agency Markets will serve insurance agents andbrokers while Vertafore Carrier & MGA Markets will cater toinsurance carriers, managing general agents (MGAs), reinsurers andpremium finance companies. Sircon, A Vertafore Business, willcontinue to focus on the compliance, licensing and governmentmarkets.

Menzies reports Vertafore will continue to sell its industryleading products such as AMS 360, Sagitta, BenefitPoint and otheragency management systems; ImageRight content management andworkflow products; SilverPlume Sage and PL rating; and Sircon'sCompliance Express and Producer Manager, among others.

The company also announced four changes among its executivemanagement team in conjunction with the reorganization. Bill Bunkerhas been named president, Vertafore Agency Markets and MattMcKernan has been named president, Vertafore Carrier & MGAMarkets. McKernan replaces Don Elias, who is leaving the company inlate March.

Additionally, Susanna Morgan has been named senior vicepresident, product strategy and marketing and Vance Huntley hasbeen promoted to senior vice president, chief technologyofficer.

"This new structure will allow us to better integrate products,provide our customers with more consistency in sales, support, andservices, and leverage the insurance and technology expertise fromthe more than 1,100 Vertafore employees," Menzies says. "Until now,customers had to piece together a variety of products to create atotal technology solution. By acting as One Vertafore, we cancapitalize on our unique market position to provide our customerswith innovative connected solutions that no other company hasoffered before."
