The National Association of Professional Surplus Lines OfficesLtd. is launching the NAPSLO Executive Leadership School, designedfor members of NAPSLO and the AAMGA with 15 years or more ofindustry experience. The school's first session will be February8-11, 2009, in Charlottesville, Va. Classes will be taught by topbusiness professors at the University of Virginia's Darden Schoolof Business. Instructors include:

o Alan Beckenstein, professor of business administration at theDarden School. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University ofMichigan and has taught at the Darden School for 34 years in theareas of political economy, global competition, public policy,environmental management and quantitative analysis.

o Alec Horniman, professor of business administration and seniorfellow, Olsson Center for applied ethics. He is a consultant toindustry in the area of organizational behavior.

o Sankaran Venkataraman, MasterCard professor of businessadministration. He is a member of the strategy, entrepreneurshipand ethics area at Darden and teaches MBA and executive levelcourses in strategy, entrepreneurship and ethics.
