The Ascensus division of Roseland, N.J.-based wholesaleinsurance broker Crump Group Inc. has acquired Baden RetirementPlan Services from Clark & Wamberg LLC.
|Baden Retirement Plan Services is a third-party retirement planadministrator with offices in Fort Wayne and Indianapolis, Ind. Itserves 1,500 plan sponsors in 48 states, primarily in theMidwest.
|Ascensus is an independent record keeper and administrator forretirement plans and regulatory consultant, plan document servicesand participant enrollment support.
|"Adding Baden to our retirement services division is consistentwith Crump Group Inc.'s strategic intent to enhance both our scaleand diversity as a leader in the financial services marketplace,"said John Howard, Crump Group Inc. president and chief executiveofficer.
|The current management structure of Baden, along with itsexisting employees, will remain with the business and operate as aseparate unit within Ascensus.
