James E. Benoski, Cincinnati Financial Corp. vice chairman, willretire, effective Jan. 16, 2009.
|Benoski, who continues to serve on the board of directors,stepped down from his positions as president, chief operatingofficer and chief insurance officer of Cincinnati Financial Corp.,chief executive officer and chief insurance officer of all of theinsurance subsidiaries and president of the lead insurancesubsidiary, The Cincinnati Insurance Co. on July 1, 2008. Benoskihas served as a director of all property casualty insurancesubsidiaries since 1999 and as a director of Cincinnati Financialsince 2000. He joined the company's field claims operations in1971. He was promoted to vice president in 1983 and to senior vicepresident and manager of the Headquarters Claims department in1996.
