CSC has announced the latest innovation in the evolution of itsproperty/casualty insurance client community with the introductionof WikonnecT, an Internet-based collaboration network using thelatest Web 2.0 technology. More than 3,000 members representing 200companies have joined since the network was launched at thevendor's fall conference.

The CSC-hosted social network is a personalized 24x7 Internetsite for product announcements, information exchange, andcollaboration between CSC and members of its P&C clientcommunity. WikonnecT runs on a Sun Microsystems infrastructure andincludes blogs, polls, and a feature to keep clients informed onnew software products and developments. Users also may rate andprovide feedback on CSC solutions, prioritize improvements, andinteract directly with CSC developers to reduce the cycle time forenhancements or responses to requests.
