Dennis Marvin, vice president of ocean marine at Max Specialty,was elected chairman of the American Institute of MarineUnderwriters at its annual meeting. He succeeds Richard J.Decker.
|Marvin has been in the marine insurance industry since 1976. Heis a member of the Maritime Law Association, the National CargoBureau and the American Bureau of Shipping. He has served aschairman of AIMU's cargo committee and as the U.S. representativeon the cargo committee of the International Union of MarineInsurers. Marvin received his Bachelor of Science from St. Peter'sCollege in Jersey City, N.J.
