Avizent, a risk management service provider, has released itsnew VISUAL Claims Studio (VCS) claims administration system. TheVCS system, utilized by internal claims staff, gives adjusters acompetitive edge when managing clients' workers' compensation,liability, and property claims.

VCS is a Windows-based, client-server application designed toprocess, manage, analyze, and report claims data throughout thelife cycle of a claim. The VCS system was developed in response tothe demands of today's risk management industry and the needs ofits adjusters. To meet higher performance standards and statecompliance requirements, more information must be maintained andshared, enabling accurate measurement and reporting on claims,financials, reserves, and diary action items.

VCS was constructed using the latest Microsoft .NET frameworkand Smart Client technology. With this structure, Avizent hascombined the functionality and performance standards of Microsoftapplications with the flexibility and simplicity of an onlineprogram. The setup allows for real-time updates, data sharing,customization, and enhanced security.
