Delos Insurance Group, a New York-based provider of programbusiness insurance, announced that John Shettle has been appointednon-executive board chairman.
|Delos consists of Delos Insurance Company and its wholly-ownedexcess and surplus lines subsidiary, Naxos Insurance Company.
|Mr. Shettle joined the board of directors of Delos InsuranceGroup's holding company, Lightyear Delos Acquisition Corp., inNovember 2007. He is currently a senior adviser to LightyearCapital.
|Previously, he was president and chief executive officer of TheSchinnerer Group, a subsidiary of Marsh & McClennan Companies.There, he ran Victor O. Schinnerer & Company Inc. and ENCONGroup Inc., two underwriting management insurance organizations inNorth America. Mr. Shettle has also served in executive positionsat Tred Avon Capital Advisors Inc., AVEMCO Corporation and SwissRe.
|He currently serves on the board of directors of LightyearCapital's portfolio company, Antares Holdings Limited.
