Chicago-based insurance broker Wells Fargo Insurance ServicesInc. said it has acquired Three Bridges, N.J.-basedHerder-Tarricone Associates. Financial terms were not released.
|Herder-Tarricone provides a range of corporate coverages,employee benefits and financial services products to bothbusinesses and individual customers, Wells Fargo said.
|According to the agency's Web site, the agency was founded in1994 with the merger of Tarricone Insurance Services and Chester H.Herder & Son Inc. Tarricone began business in 1983 and Herder& Son was founded in 1932.
|Agency principals Peter Tarricone, Chris Tarricone, KarenTarricone and their team of eight will continue to be based inHunterdon County, N.J., Wells Fargo said.
|Wells Fargo Insurance Services is a subsidiary of SanFrancisco-based bank Wells Fargo.
