Novak has nearly 20 years of risk management experience in thereal estate industry. Most recently, she was senior director ofrisk management for AvalonBay Communities Inc. Prior to that, Novakwas a risk manager for Artery Property Management Inc. She receiveda Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from AlleghenyCollege.
|Novak is involved in the National Multi Housing Council and shewas a co-chair of the National Association of Real EstateInvestment Trusts Insurance Committee.
