ICW Group, a group of insurers, announced that its workers'compensation division has enhanced Snap, the Web-based softwaretool to automatically upload data from agency management systems,centralize data, and speed the quoting process.

Snap was introduced to agents and brokers in February 2008. Bylistening to the feedback of their agents and brokers, ICW Groupmade improvements to their technology solution and has now releasedSnap 1.2. Upgrades include adding more functionality and furthersimplifying the quoting process.

Snap's automatic upload of client information eliminates theneed to re-key data, thus streamlining the workflow for theiragents and brokers. Improvements include a homepage that displaysdetailed information about an agency/broker's book of business withICW Group; the ability to print an application in the standardACORD format; pre-qualification tool that provides agents andbrokers with information on ICW Group's risk appetite; and theability to reassign an application to another person within theagency or brokerage.
