The Cumberland Insurance Group announced new personal linesproducts. These products include equipment breakdown coverage,which is available through existing Pennsylvania, New Jersey andDelaware homeowner policies; an updated personal automobile programin Pennsylvania; and a new personal automobile program inMaryland.
|Equipment breakdown coverage, which protects against unexpectedrepair or replacement costs due to mechanical, electrical orpressurized systems breakdown, is an alternative to product andhome warranty plans.
|Policyholders whose homes are insured by Cumberland and qualifyfor the new personal automobile coverage can save money on bothpolicies with a companion discount. Savings can also be receivedthrough multi-car coverage, an accident-free driving record,completion of driver's education courses, students with goodgrades, anti-theft devices, anti-lock brakes and passiverestraints. The program features guaranteed replacement coverage onnew vehicles for up to two years.
