Michael Berg has joined Fireman's Fund Insurance Company'sspecialty business as vice president/product executive for inlandmarine and related property. Berg will lead product strategy andclient relationship management for the entirety of the Fireman'sFund inland marine product line.
Berg served as the former Firemen's Fund product director of inlandmarine from 1982 to 2000. He then worked at OneBeacon Insurance,where he managed inland marine and mono-line property underwritingstaff for their western region.
With more than 30 years of experience in the inland marineinsurance business, Berg began his career in 1976 as a propertyunderwriting trainee. He has held leadership roles at Fireman'sFund, Industrial Indemnity, Kemper Insurance and OneBeacon. He hasserved on the board of the Marine Underwriters of San Francisco andon the national board of directors of the Inland MarineUnderwriters Association.
