Zurich has launched Zurich's Spill Reporting Online System,which will assist North American customers with the cleanup ofspills of hazardous materials, fuel or other regulatedmaterials.

Free to Zurich Environmental customers, the online system willassist in dispatching cleanup contractors, reducing costsassociated with environmental releases, expediting regulatoryreporting and mitigating potential liability.

Zurich is collaborating with Spill Center, an environmentalspill management specialist with more than 15 years of experience.Spill Center maintains a database of more than 3,000 contractorsthroughout North America to assist customers in identifying localresources for spills. Spill Center also assists in coordinatinglocal, state and federal release reporting, monitors nearly 30,000federal, state and local jurisdictions across the U.S., trackschanges in regulations, and maintains current environmentalreporting regulations and contact information.

Users of the system receive electronic copies of paperworkgenerated by the spill incident, including an open release report,contractor retention documentation, regulatory paperwork, invoicesand a closing report.
