Adirondack Insurance Exchange and New Jersey Skylands InsuranceAssociation have joined the independent insurance agent brandingcampaign Trusted Choice.

The companies are policyholder-owned reciprocal exchangesmanaged by subsidiaries of OneBeacon Insurance Group.

The announcement brings to 52 the number of insurance companymembers that have partnered with more than 10,000 independent agentand brokerage firms in the Independent Insurance Agents &Brokers of America's agent and broker branding campaign.

Trusted Choice's aim is to educate consumers about the benefitsof using independent agent and brokers for their insurance needs,offering choice of companies, customized policies and advocacysupport, the Alexandria, Va.-based association said.

Founded in 2006, Adirondack Insurance is a full-service personalinsurance company focused exclusively on New York. New JerseySkylands Insurance, founded in 2002, offers a complete line ofpersonal insurance products solely to New Jersey consumers.

Both organizations offer their products exclusively throughindependent insurance agents.
