K&K Insurance Group Inc. launched a new Web side, www.fitnessinsurance-kk.com, which will provide onlinequoting and binding capabilities for fitness, sports and danceinstructors as well as exercise and circuit training studios andsmaller, limited services health clubs. Customers can purchasecoverage immediately using a credit card.

The instructor liability program offers insurance to U.S.-basedpersonal training, exercise, aerobic, yoga/pilates, sports, ordance instructors working as independent contractors andsupervising individual or group instruction of fitness, exercise,dance or sports activities. Lower rates introduced in 2007 forfitness and dance instructors are available on the Web site. Theinstructor program offers three limit options. Coverage can bepurchased for a one- to two-year period. There are no additionalcharges to obtain certificates of insurance for third parties.

Smaller health and fitness operations such as exercise studios,circuit training facilities and health clubs offering limitsservices, may also apply for coverage on-line via the new web site.Coverages available under this program include commercial generalliability protection for the business and its employees. Optionalcoverages offered include Medical Payments for Participants, andInland Marine coverage to protect equipment and contents in thefacility.

Commission is available to insurance agents when using the newon-line binding system. Coverage is provided through an "A+" ratedinsurance company.
