Patrick McCrink, vice president of claims for the Tampa-basedTravelers of Florida, has been elected to the post of president forthe Windstorm Insurance Network. Formed in 1999, the associationprovides a forum for professionals who are involved in all aspectsof windstorm issues, including claim adjusters. The associationholds an annual three-day educational conference. The association's10th annual conference will be held next year on Jan. 25-28, 2008,at the Rosen Center Hotel in Orlando.
|In addition to McCrink, the association also elected severalother officers. Art Newman, with Belfor USA, has been tapped toserve as vice president. The secretary will be Michaela Scheihing,with the law firm of Boehm, Brown, Fischer, Hardwood, Keyy &Scheihing. Lastly, David Cowheard, with Carranza Cowheard &Associates, has been named as treasurer.
