Pitney Bowes MapInfo has recently introduced new data sets for their Risk Data Suite, which aims to address critical decisions with disaster scenario analysis and claim planning and preparedness. The new additions are for wildfires, fire stations, and shoreline issues.

The earthquake bundle, weather bundle, wind pool bundle, and mass movement bundle are the existing data sets and allow risk managers to manage their exposures more effectively when used with Pitney Bowes MapInfo location technology. Updates are also available for the original four data sets and include information on sinkhole locations in Florida, including caves, disappearing streams, springs, and underground drainage systems for the mass movement bundle. The wind pool bundles containing historical wind speed wind-borne debris regions are now available for eight states: North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas.
